I have started paying attention more recently to the things I'm eating and how unhealthy they are. High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is used as a sweetener in soda, ketchup, bread and apple sauce. The stuff is everywhere. So I would suggest you take note of what products you use that have HFCS. Some "natural" foods and drinks still use HFCS even though it requires a lot of processing and a genetic modification to produce.

Also it sounds like you're trying to support "green living" and organic foods but I think they are two different subjects. Green living is trying to make the environment better, and organic living is trying to make your body healthier.
